Hey, I’m Andrew, a freelance book cover designer and illustrator based in London.

For six years I’ve designed covers for books that connect with readers’ imaginations,
working across fiction, non-fiction and education. I began my career in children’s
publishing – as in-house designer at Sweet Cherry in Leicester – before moving to
London and working as a member of the design team at Macmillan Education,
then later at HarperCollins. There, I worked across general fiction and non-fiction
imprints, as well as The Borough Press, HarperVoyager, Mudlark, Avon and
One More Chapter.

I love working across a range of styles, from literary to commercial – and any
genres in between.

Clients include: Amazon Publishing, Andersen Press, Bonnier, Faber & Faber, HarperCollins, HarperNorth, Headline, Head of Zeus, Hodder & Stoughton, HQ, Michael Joseph, Monadori Libri, Orion, Pushkin Press, Simon & Schuster, Sourcebooks, Transworld, Tor, Vintage, Welbeck
